Board of Directors

President & Founder: Arianne Tiner

Arianne began BCOD in January of 2015 after growing increasingly troubled after learning that most rescues were refusing animals because of breed, health, age, and temperament in the shelter environment. After watching many animals not make it out alive, Arianne knew she had to do something about it. She started BCOD and vowed to help those animals that other rescues had denied.

Kenzie was born and raised in the Lower Keys. She attended Key West High School, graduating in 2013, and went on to attend Florida State University, where she majored in Anthropology. While in Tallahassee, Kenzie discovered her love for helping and serving animals, working in pet retail and volunteering with Black Cats and Old Dogs Animal Rescue, for which she currently serves on the board of directors.
